St. Anthony's of Padua Catholic Church

St. Anthony's before

St. Anthony's  was in need of a roof replacement for their main sanctuary structure, and roof repairs to other buildings on their campus. The sanctuary had missing shingles and was experiencing severe leaks due to the age and condition of the roof. The primary section of the roof was covered with a slate look asbestos shingle that was about fifty years old, and the steeples were covered with an aluminum shingle of about the same age.

The primary challenges with this project were: safe removal and disposal of the old asbestos shingles; finding a product for the main roof section that would tie in with a natural slate roof on the back of the structure; and replacing the steeple roofs that are five and six stories high!

The solution for the main roof was the installation of a synthetic slate look product from DaVinci that blends with the natural slate portion of the roof. The DaVinci system is environmentally friendly and will last the Church another fifty years.

The steeples received a new aluminum roofing system in a kinar coated copper finish, restoring them to their original appearance. During restoration of the steeples we were also able to refinish the crosses a the peaks, giving them new vibrance and protecting them for years to come.

During the restoration process the guttering system, which is a unique architectural feature of the structure, was repaired with custom crafted metal inserts.

The end result of the project is both visually stunning and corrects the leaking issues that threatened the integrity of the historical structure. The Church is visible for several miles and now once again serves as a beacon of faith and hope at the heart of its small community.

Thoroughbred Motors

Thoroughbred before

Thoroughbred Motors is a high-end used car dealership that was in need of an exterior remodel befitting their exclusive inventory.

We transformed a simple metal building into an elegant showplace.

The scope of the project included filling the existing metal roof so that it could be appropriately decked for composition shingles, adding a stucco and rock finish to the exterior walls, and adding rock to the existing columns.

The roof received an application of a Camelot architectural shingle by GAF. The fascia was transformed with and application of stucco in a rich mocha color, and the exterior walls and columns where enhanced with natural stone in a dry stack application to accent the new color scheme. Rich mocha paint and ambient architectural lighting completed the transformation.
